I want to meet guys that are of the same religion but I don't know if like mormons can date pentecostals?

Of course Christians can date other Christians regardless of denomination. You just have to work out how important it is to your faith that the person you date believes exactly the same as you. If you are open and flexible about each other's beliefs there should be no problem.

I would advise discussing your faith with your prospective date first...see where your differences are. If after that you are comfortible with him/her, I'd say go for it. But if you understand how different the Mormon faith is from the Pentecostal faith, and neither of you are going to switch, then I'd say you're headed for trouble in the future.
One of the answers to your question listed Walter Martin's book "The Kingdom Of The Cults" as a source. You should definitely look at what this excellent book has to say about the Mormons. You may find that dating one might not be such a good idea. The book is extremely informative and thorough. I highly recommend it to all christians. Unfortunately, the author, Dr. Martin is no longer with us. But this book is a marvelous legacy that we can all benefit from.

Regretably Mormons are members of a cult. I agree with some of their teachings but not all. Yes, you would be unequally yoked because later in your marriage.. you and your spouse will be compromised in your values and beliefs and that could lead to divorce.

Mormons can date anyone they want to. They can marry anyone they want to. But, IMHO, a Mormon marrying a Pentecostal is like matches to sandpaper; at some point, sparks will fly, then a conflagration.
