Mark 15:42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath. Anyone who knows Judaism, knows that the Sabbath begins Friday evening. Judaism counts days from evening to evening, as the bible reads, Genesis 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. Friday evening begins, for the Jews, Saturday, the Sabbath. John 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Jesus prophecied 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the earth, just as Jonah for 3 days and 3 night. This means that he would not emerge until the 4th day. He couldn't do this, he changed it and claimed, on the third day he would come forth. He STILL failed, Friday night, 1 night, Saturday day, 1 day, Saturday night, 2 nights. Hell, "on the third day" means atleast two days and two nights.

The calendar which we are using now has been changed by the Roman Catholic Church and that is why it is called Roman calendar.

The Hebrew calendar was the basis of the apostles in counting the days and that is the very reason that we were lost of those things.

And speaking on the Hebrew Calendar the death of Jesus was supposed to be Thursday in the Roman calendar but it is a clear indication of mistake, wrong computation of days.

It does not mean that Sabbath is on Saturday of the Roman Calendar because the 7th day in Hebrew Calendar is Sunday in Roman Calendar and the first day in Hebrew Calendar is Monday supposed to be, in Roman Calendar, however er this was changed by the Vatican.

there were 2 sabbaths that week...a high sabbath and the regular weekly saturday sabbath. Jesus was crucified on a wednesday and put in the speulchre before evening...the next day, thursday was a high sabbath. then on friday the women went and purchased the herbs to embalm Jesus body. but they had to wait through satturday sabbath to do it. first thing sunday morning they went, almost before daybreak, to the grave, but Jesus was already gone....
1.wednesday evening-thursday evening=1 day
2.thursday evening-friday evening=day 2
3.friday evening-saturday evening=day 3.
4.Jesus arose the evening of the third day...He was crucified near evening 3 days before.
5. just because the women went to the grave sunday morning and He wasnt there...everyone concludeds that H arose that morning when in fact it was the evening before.

Interred Friday before sundown -- one day, though must of it was gone.

Sunset to sunset of the Sabbath. That an undisdupate day and night.

Overnight and into the next day. That's a second full night and part of a third day.

Dude, can you read? Jonah was D-E-A-D.... How else can you be pulled from the black abyss??? Friday / Saturday / Sunday most anyone would say that is 3 days... Jesus didn't go on record for saying "3 twenty four hour periods..." If Jesus was a prophet (as you say pbuh, I guess you is muslim) then he can't lie. To say their are inconsistencies is to call into question what Mohammed taught about Jesus, as if he (jesus) is wrong then he can't be a prophet, same with Mohammed.

Three days. Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
As far as I know, every day of the week has both a day and a night. Does that not equal three days and three nights?
They never said what time of day he arose from the dead. Maybe Sunday night was when he came back.
