I bought a 2006 Nissan Tiida here in Saudi Arabia. Now we have a choice of either 91% or 95% octane gasoline. Will the performance of the engine be the same on both kinds of gasoline?

Also, will my car do good on ethanol?

Go for the lowest octane. You're Tilda won't do on Ethanol at all unless it was designed to run on it. Ethanol has a lower energy content than gasoline as well, so your mileage will be lower. In the States, this stuff is 10 cents cheaper than 87 Octane with about 40 percent less energy. What a rip off. Use the lowest octane that you car will run on. Anything higher is a waste of money.

About the highest we can get in the States is 91. I'm guessing that your car is set up to run on 87. So I would see no problem with the 91. Good luck

4 octane, approximately 3 miles extra consistent with gallon, and a minimum of a fifty cent consistent with gallon value difference. Now days its stressful to discover a ninety 5 octane different than possibly on the airport, called AVgas.

Unless you have a hi perormance car like a Corvette, 95% of cars are designed to run on regular gas. Your just wasting money on premium. Read your owners manual.
