I guess its all depending on how much time you two have spent together.
In some cases where you spend a lot time together, I think it may be true because of the energy between the two of you.
But if you are just crushing, then you are just reaching.

I reckon if you are thinking about them and they are thinking about you you know it, you can just feel it.
I think its that way with alot of people, I am sure everyone has had the same experience as me when you suddenly think of a friend of yours or whoever and wonder how they are then you see them on the street or they call you out of the blue. I think to me thats proof it happens but obviously not all the time that would be freaky!

No. Not necessarily so. It depends on the quality of your communication with the person you think of. If it is frequent and positive, that person will probably think of you in a similar way. If communication between the two of you is infrequent and/or negative, that person will rarely think of you and in some cases, may deliberately avoid thinking of you.

Interesting question. Consider this; everything is energy. That is, all matter is energy (matter is made of molecules made of atoms made of nucleus and protons and neutrons, etc, all whirling about feverishly). Thoughts are energy. So if you put out your thoughts into the universe, as energy, whose to say your energy (thoughts) don't interact with mine? Could be. There are many examples of people knowing who is on the telephone when it rings, who is at the front door, and so forth. I personally believe this to be possible. Not every time, but certainly possible.

Sometimes that does happen but not always. I wouldn't rely on that theory.
But I'll have to say, there were times in the past, when I thought of someone, they would call me and tell me they were thinking about me.
