Because they sicken me. I do find it really funny; People believe any oral diarrhea that comes out of these people’s mouths just because they are on TV or the big screen. Same with some of the stupid *** Libs on TV they have blatantly lied before and all I do is sit there and laugh my *** off. Oh well. I also find it funny that half the people that discuss politics on here have not even graduated high school or are 40 year old people that really have made absolutely no life for themselves. I see so many people like why don’t congress members etc or their family members go to Iraq etc well where all of the actors and the SAG members that are going there. You have butt loads of country music stars and rock stars going on USO tours. And when was the last time that bull dyke tub'o Lard Rosie O fast *** come and eat dinner with me In Iraq and personally sit with me and walk with me and discuss my concerns like Bush or Cheney or Rumsfeld did with me? But she would rather sit on her "view" which should not be called "the view" because it is not the only one and ***** about **** she has not experienced first hand. It honestly does sicken me. America is becoming a country of mindless idiots that believes any edited to get their point across you tube videos and CNN clips and any talking head who says Iraq is bad even though they don't know first hand. And if the libs had their way the history books would all be edited to their liking to. .............. Shadow Stalker

Ahhh...another ignorant Yahoo Answers question. Why worry about it? There ARE people in the military who have problems with the war also. Isn't every individual entitled to freedom of speech? In a perfect world, every single American could drop what they're doing and join the military, But it's not. Get over it. I am sure there has been something that you've been pissed off about, but haven't attempted to do anything about.

I support the troops and think military and people in military are essential to any country, HOWEVER...
This is my opinion...
- MOST people IN the military are supposed to follow the chain of command, not "discuss" it nor debate the ideas
- The military people IN Iraq can't exactly "talk" about it right now if they're over there
- It's mostly the citizens and the government that decide what and how wars happen or end

Marines won't complain, not because they don't care, its because the objective is to do the mission and keep your brothers alive.
Complaining about the war would be counter productive and bad for moral.
That's why a lot of Marines are raising their voices once they leave Iraq and its the same reason. They still are concerned about their Marine brothers on the battle field.
If I was still in, I'd fight. But not for Bush or any other reason. I'd fight for my brothers. Period.

Why is it that most people who talk about politics or government are not even politicians?
Stop and think about this one, we hear it every day some conservative or some liberal that has not even put in any time in public office are the ones who have the biggest problems with the government.

Unfortunately this is a part of freedom. People can express their uneducated opinions about anything. Some people believe if you haven't been in uniform, you should keep your mouth shut. I disagree. A person can learn without serving. The key is to educate yourself. Form your opinions based on fact, not half truths the politicians or new media attempt to cram down people's throats.

WHY should you have to be in the military to have an opinion?
I assume you keep your mouth shut about your favourite sports team since you arent actually playing for them, therefore have no right to comment.
I assume you keep your mouth shut about the President since you arent doing the job so you have no right to comment.
Oh - You dont??? Hmmm ....... funny how the military is exempt from comment yet everything else in your life you are allowed to speak about.
Get stuffed, you dont need to be in the military to have an opinion, so grow a brain moron.

Cheney got five deferments and never served. Bush served in the Champagne squadron of the TANG and went AWOL from that service. Rice didn't serve, Rove didn't serve. Most of the powerful in the executive branch didn't serve so what's your point?
Reagan was an actor who played a tough talker even though he didn't serve as anything other than an actor. It is funny that Reagan and Schwarzenegger can weigh in in your world but if the actors are lefties, they have no right to their opinion.
