Wow, Christians better switch to hemp clothing!

BTW it does make sense though, cotton is bad for the soil and needs chemicals to help it grow, unlike hemp.

So HEMP for GOD!

Some things were forbidden by God as abominations, and other things were proscribed to set the Isrealites apart from other nations. These things are noted differently in the old testament, which you would know if you really read it instead of picking out things out of context for your own purposes.
IN ADDITION
As far as Christians go, the Mosaic proscriptions on foods and clothing and such which had nothing to do with sinful and non-sinful acts were to be applied to Isrealites. AND after the death of Christ, these rules were replaced with the new covenant as is pointed out by Paul the Apostle.

Not just mixed cotton but two fabrics that are different mixed together.

It is in there. I will try to find the exact chapter and verse and will post it later. (my bible is not on hand this minute)

The correct verse is Leviticus 19:19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon thee.

Has nothing to do with cotton, but with wool and linen
