Help! I procrastinate and i am killing myself

I cant turn my computer off im using it to write my paper

You just gotta get writing that paper! Tell yourself that after you work on this term paper for a while that you will reward yourself and let yourself come back on for a little while! Your term paper is very important to your grades! Now get off the computer and get to work! =)

You need to hire somebody from the Procrastination Avoidance Service (PAS). Your own personal PAS buddy will stand by and watch as you surf Yahoo Answers. They will verbally insist that you start your homework and when it becomes clear that you are just procrastinating, they will begin to beat you mercilessly.

Time to grow up and be mature. Simply turn off your computer and get going on the paper. Just think how bad you'll feel about yourself if you don't get it done. Not a happy camper.

Set yourself some guidelines. REward yourself when you follow through. Example: set a timer and when it goes off then it's time to work on your paper. Prioitize! Your future is your key! Good luck!

well, just think that the longer you take to start the longer it will take to finish it. You might as well do it now, to get it all over and done with. Promise yourself some sort of reward AFTER you have it done...good luck

Yes I know what you mean this is the stupidest waste of time but I know I am only doing it to avoid doing school work. Lets stop together now.

I think it helps to be not within 20feet of a distracting device (radio, T.V., computer, etc). I go in my apartment lobby which really helps. No T.V., no computer, no nothing, just me and my books.

unplug the internet connection and do something with it so you wouldn't be able to connect to the net again to answer Qs!
