Well, it's really not a good idea, and it's probably illegal, too. Where I live, you have to be 18 to get one by yourself, or 16 if a parent will sign for you. While it probably won't do anything to your asthma (unless pain causes asthma attacks for you), you will probably hate it by the time you're 20 or 25. And...just a thought... If you do find someone who will do it regardless of your age, then they are unscrupulous to begin with and may not be using sterile equipment and techniques, thus exposing you to blood-transmitted diseases, including HIV. Please, wait until you're at least 18 and go to a trusted, reputable tattoo studio.

Maybe you should concentrate on school. It should be you're not your and asthma not ashtma. Anyway, if I had put something permanent on my body at the age of 14-16 I'd regret it a lot now. You aren't mature enough to make that decision. That's why it is bad. You won't like my answer but in about a decade you'll realize that you become a completely different person when you grow up.

It definitely is not a good idea, at any age really. Here are some valid reasons; it is permanent and what you choose now you most likely will not want when you are older, it is harder to get a good job with visible tattoos, if you go to a place that is unsanitary you may wind up with some very serious health issues, it looks "hard" and cheap. When I see people with tattoos I wonder why they couldn't spend their time and money on something more productive.

There are 2 things bad about getting a tattoo so young.
1. When you're 20 you may HATE it and wish you'd never done it. Or at least wish you had gotten something else.
2. Tattoos degrade over time as your skin ages so getting one so young may mean it doesn't look good in 15 years.

It's probably not bad for your health, but you will regret it. Don't you regret things you did when you were in 5th grade?
I'm 15, and my friend who's also 15 got a star tattoo, and hates it. And she got it like 4 months ago. Wait a bit.

I have asthma and it dodn't affect me at all. I would encourage you to wait until you're a bit older to know for sure that this is what you want. Once it's there it's a permanent thing.

I would wait, doing something permanent to your body at such an early age may be regretful in the future.

If you get it, you're trapped with it. No one will bug you for NOT having a tattoo, but certainly people will bug you/it will bug you if you pick one that doesn't suit your ever-growing personality.
