my and my kids just got a blue heeler male puppy any good ideas for a name?

Most people tend to name their pets "people" names when they consider them part of the family like: Rex, Mandy, etc. Our two puppies (we call them together as " the third child we never had") and named them Eva and Luna. However, our other dogs (from childhood on up) have been Jenna, Daisy and Mandy.
For a male puppy, Blue and Bear (yes, he's gonna grow!) are popular. Russell, Monty, Jesse and Zeke could fit the bill, too.

Congrats on the new puppy! For some reason, Blue's Clues keeps popping into my head (must be the color blue.) You can try to go that route (kind of) and call your dog Azure. It means blue. Azure sounds very strong and yet you can tell the kids it'd be like the animals on Blues Clues, where they're all named after colors!

Watch him for a few days. Name him something that fits his personality.
My (male) Mini Poodle's name is Pongo, and he's a total dork, lol. He dosen't exactly act like a "Pongo", does he?
My (female) Germain Shepard's name is Mistica (Misty), I think the name fits her well. She's verry pretty, and she's the biggest sweetheart ever!
