Subtitle file (.srt) and movie (.avi) with the same name are in the same folder. The subtitles are in Chinese language & in Chinese BG Code. When i play the movie using Media Player Classic, the subtitles appear but not in Chinese language. Something encrypted or something like this => *7%jsi*&^(A. In the Regional & Language settings, Asian languages are installed. Arialuni.ttf is also installed.

What should I do to make the subtitles appear in Chinese? The same thing happens when i play the movie in Windows Media Player & VLC Player. Please help!!

**I have Direct VobSub installed.

You have to change VobSub to use ArialUNI and change codepage to Chinese.

Try getting 'any dvd' off the web, it cancels those settings when a DVD is inserted
