there's no way that we can strainghten our hair permanently. but i read from an article that there's a japanese hair straightening or the thermal hair straightening. theThermal hair straightening differs from the hair relaxing process used primarily on African Americans. Thermal hair straightening is often not recommended for African hair types and may not be effective on hair with highlights. It is an expensive, several hour process that includes applications of chemicals to your hair that reach high heats. However, a lot of people love the long-term results.
The basic process includes a pre-conditioner and then the application of hair relaxer in stages. Intermittently, the stylist applies heat and uses a flat iron to straighten the hair. After several hours, your hair ends up very straight. And the results last for several months. In the meantime, you may have to revisit your salon to apply the process to new hair growth. However, this process is cheaper and doesn’t take as long.

not permanently..., but the term for chemically straightening your hair is called relaxing.
When you relax your hair they section off their hair and comb through the relaxer, leave it in for about 10mins and then wash it out. You have to do it over every 6-10weeks though. Depending on how fast your hair starts to grow out.
downside though...
-it is a chemical so you would have to take extra care of your hair or it would break &/or fall out
-do not scratch your hair the day b4 you go to relax because your scalp would burn like hell
Tips:
-wash your hair every other week[every 2 weeks]
-use a deep conditoner on your hair
-use a hair moisturiser&hair polish on hair
-wrap your hair every night and set your hair at least once a week
-use a silk headtie
-use a shampoo &conditioner specific for chemically treated hair

Chemical Relaxer. Get it professionally done. Expect to pay about $70 the first time (virgin relaxer is what it is called) and then about $40-$50 after that, at which point, you can do a home relaxer if you have skills like that.

Yea. There's this treatment called "Magic Straight" imported from Korea. A lot of good hair salons should have it. It's where they use chemicals to permanently straighten your hair. I've seen it used successfully, and even used it personally, so i can safely say that it works :D
Go to your salon and ask if they have it. :) Good luck!

No, you cannot! God gave you the hair you have and your stuck with it. Perm will damage your hair and give you split ends. It grows out also. Avoid perms and hot irons. If you do plan to perm, get it done by a trained professional and don't do it to often.
