Is an egg laying mammal a transitional evolutionary form? I don't think the fundies would like it, they might try to burn the Easter Platypus.

I thought the Easter Platypus came from that show, Invader Zim...
And, I don't know about you, but I don't celebrate Easter for Jesus or some other thing...

I agree that the platypus is a pinacle of strangeness in the mammal world (the only mammal with a poison-gland [on a claw on rear foot I think])
He pays attention to things ... bright kid :)
