As long as you turn to God and confess your sin, He has testified that He is willing to forgive you.
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
I John 1:7-2:2
Remember that as a Christian, it is not your adherence to any set of rules that makes you right with God, but your faith in the atonement of Christ.
As we grow in our faith, we grow also in our ability to overcome sin. Now if you are in a settled state of disobedience, you need to repent. But if it is a matter of moral weakness, we need to believe God accepts us, and will help us with our weaknesses. The Bible says "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ. For the Law of the Spirit of the Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and of death." (Romans 8:1,2)
You need to study the Paul's Letter to the Romans, as it is the most through treatment of how God enables us to overcome sin. As long as our heart is towards God, and we truly desire to obey Him, He will not turn us away. Sometimes it may be more than just your fleshly nature you are struggling against. We cannot overcome the power of demon spirits on our own, but we need to call upon the Lord Jesus to deliver us. Ask God to help you understand what you are dealing with.

It is not for man to EVER determine whether another child of God is truly saved. It may FEEL as if one doesn't have the strength to overcome the sin nature at times, but we do. Salvation is a process. No one gets it right all the time. I'm not saying go out and do whatever you want and then just apologize afterwards. If you honestly seek live a life pleasing to God and spend time in His presence by reading His Word and praying on a daily basis, you will find the sin nature less of a burden. You are what you eat. If you feed your flesh, your flesh will be stronger. If you feed your spirit, your spirit will be stronger. Never give up! God loved you BEFORE you gave your life to Him. He's not about to give up on you now!

No one is truly saved until they have endured to the end of their life or the end of this system of things and then resists Satan one last time at the end of the 1,000 years. That is why we must be faithful in all the little things to help us to be faithful in the more important things and why we must never give up in doing the best we can every day. We are like runners training for a race and we must not give out before we reach the finish line. The rewards for crossing are much to great to give up.

I don't think anyone can ever completely overcome a sinful nature. What we do have though is a Savior who has taken on those sins so that we may be forgiven. The shepherd knows the sheep, and the sheep know his name.

No to be truly repentant he has to change his ways. However there is help from his church leaders and other ways to overcome problems that cannot be done by himself. Lets take Porn for an example. The person may have to go to counseling and get help from a addiction clinic but they can overcome it with help.

Yes. Sanctification is a life long process. We will all continue to sin in some form or another as long as we are in these fleshly bodies. That is what grace is all about.

He has the strength. He is refusing to use it. Only God can judge a person's spiritual condition. Eternal fate is also his call. Our choice however.
