when I say I oppose illegal immigration? Where did I say anything that even suggests that? Did I ever say I am against immigration? All I'm asking is that people obey our laws if they are going to take advatage of our nation.

I was using the phrase "taking advatage" in the sense of anyone who uses the US economy for economic betterment. I guess I worded it poorly.

I agree. I believe if you come to this country regardless of race or religion you should obey our laws. There is a reason why we have issues with immigration. It's because we are the best country in the world. So whether you were born in this country or you are an immigrant, you should obey the laws of the land.

The answer to this, and most questions was answered. Qui est veritas? What is truth. It is in the eye of the beholder. To someone who disagrees with a meaningful immigration policy, you are a bigot. To those who want their cake and eat it too, you are a bigot. To those who love this country and want to protect our (notice, the bigotry) way of life, you are not.

Simple.

I wouldn't worry about it. The words "bigot" and "racist" are only cultural buzz words used by people that have absolutely no concept of nationalism in their own country, yet mysteriously are able to defend it everywhere else.

It happens all the time on here. Bigotry is often lost amongst those that have no better argument. And being called a toothless, bigoted, racist always a laugh to me, because you are right, laws are there to be obeyed.

Ignore comments like Trublood's above....Spreading hate like that is proving he's nothing but a loser and a nosensical troll...

the keyword none seem to pay attention to is "ILLEGAL", so you my friend are right and definitely not a Bigot... the biggest problem we have in the whole illegal immigrants crisis is the employers who hire them...they all need a crack across their heads and then thrown in jail for abusing the system.

You aren't a bigot, 80 percent of Americans oppose illegal immigration. Note "illegal"... nobody should have a problem with people coming here legally. The problem is that some people want a free ride on the backs of the US taxpayer, and they resort to calling you a bigot if they don't get their way.

Their problem, not yours!

As a hispanic, I can say you're not a bigot, we can't be accommodating people with no papers, as far as the jobs they take the jobs, people in the U.S. feel is beneath them, but one way or another they put a burden on the system, because Washington can't come up with a good solution to this problem, it's all political rhetoric.
