On a large scale, atheists can do no more than a believer. If, however, we are talking about "guarding the freedom of religious speech" one person at a time, then the things atheists could do are the same as things believers could do. Ultimatley, to guard freedom of religious speech we ALL need to stop picking up offenses and taking as a personal threat what another person believes. Stop assuming that just because person "A" was crummy to me, and "works at K-Mart", that all employees of "K-Mart" are crummy people and K-Mart sucks. In other words, do not let the offense be associated with the belief of the offender, but rather with the actual offense itself. Stop judging the PERSONS and judge only the actions. If both sides would do this, period, we would all get a lot further both politically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally. I can choose for myself that eating meat is wrong, or listening to rock music is wrong, or whatever I think the "rules" are ... but to judge another person for his understanding (or lack of understanding) of "our" rules is religious and judgemental ... whether you are a Christian OR an Atheist.

Your question is an oxymoron. This sounds like a question to plot another way to control people. Or brainwash. How can we get them .............................................................. (to guard religious speech)?

Freedom of speech for all persons? Ummmmm I don't think so.....this is as good as it gets.

IN OTHERWORDS, YOU TELL ME HOW AN ATHEIST CAN GUARD YOUR FREEDOM OF RELIGIOUS SPEECH. LOL!

The United States was founded by Christians. If atheists want to live in godless society why don't they move to North Korea.
