This might be the symptoms of depression. in depression nothing can give you happiness and mood swings from top of the world to down in the depth.
I suggest that consult doctor as soon as possible before it becomes big trouble and takes everything from your life.
If you are minor then seek advise from parents and request them to seek doctor.
In depression you can loose periods because of hormonal imbalances. if you are sexually active then get tested for pregnancy test to rule out your loss of periods.

well, actually, PMS is BEFORE you get your period, up to 10 days before, or so. I get that really bad, it makes my bipolar a lot, lot worse. I know some ladies who get problems like you and they do not have mental illness, too, and it's all the PMS thing. There are so many things it could be-maybe you are not getting enough exercise, maybe school is stressing you out, maybe you have sleep apnea (overweight people get that) so your sleep isn't very good, and it could be depression too, or side effects from meds (allergy meds and cold remedies and birth control pills can all be a problem). I'd make a point of hanging with your friends more, because you don't want to cut off social support, that is the number one thing you can do for yourself, even if you have depression. **If it goes on for more than a couple weeks, or you start seriously thinking about harming yourself, you need to talk to a parent. *****That would be more than normal teenage stuff. When I was a teen, I would bawl and bawl over my math homework when I had PMS, and it was easy as anything other times, but I did not keep track and did not know it was PMS. Now, 25 years later, in hindsight, I'm sure that's what it was. So keep track, it is so common to have that problem, far more common than depression, I'm sure.

All the best to you!!

Have you ever been tested for mental illness? You are experiencing some of the same symptoms I have for Generalized Anxiety Disorder; it normally begins to manifest during the late teens to early twenties. It can effect sleeping habits-- even prevent you from sleeping-- and can make it very difficult to be social, even with people you've known your entire life.

My advice would be to try talking to a shrink and see what they have to say. There are medications you can take to help control that wish to withdraw from people, and can help you feel somewhat normal again. I take a handful of colorful pills every day to help gain control my problems-- and they've worked for the most part. I can't really advise you any further than this, so good luck.

You don't say your age or why all of this started. If you don't want to talk to men (brothers and father) did something happen to you, were you raped or molested? You're sleeping a great deal, irritable and withdrawing too, that is usually depression. I suggest you seek out a counselor and discuss how you are feeling.

You don't say how old you are or if your statment " I don't have my period" is meaning you haven't started them yet (be thankful) or that you are late. If you are late, either you are pregnant, your hormones are not working right or it's just a glitche in your system.

A female's hormones can rage in all directions so it could very well be that is your problem but you should talk with a physician about this. There could be some type of medication that can help depending on what's causing this problem.

I can understand you not wanting to talk to any of the males in your family but please do talk to an adult female who can help you.

Sounds like you may be pregnant! That's the exact same way I was! I couldn't figure out why I was SO SLEEPY!! I was literally falling asleep at work for about 2 weeks and then found out I was 4 1/2 weeks pregnant! You should take a test!! Good Luck!

You should talk with someone a counsler at school, a teacher, a aunt. Let them know how you are feeling and take it from there you may be somewhat depressed.
