What exactly are we in war against with Iraq?

we needed to keep the Chinese out of there, they were gonna deal directly with Saddam, and their economy would have been surging way beyond our control, so we went in there and controled the 2nd largest reserve in the world, so now the chinese are trying to buy from the Africasn nations, cool not enough oil, so we cool with that.....

The first and foremost is OIL.

The second is to contain Iran by getting near to their border and get the Mullahs ousted since it is assumed that Iran is fuelling the international terrorists who are against Israel and USA.

The Third is to remove Saddam, which USA did it brilliantly, but should have moved out of Iraq after the dictator was toppled. The overstaying guest (USA & Britain) are now paying through their noses.

probably really just to increase the government expenditure that increases the agregate demand which makes the GDP bigger and therefore the rich richer. america is always in war.. but maybe its the other stuff too. ha.

We want to leave, they want us to leave, but they keep attacking us and we won't leave as long as they are doing that. If the insurgents were smart, they would stop the attacks, stockpile their weapons, and lay low until we left, then they could take over Iraq for themselves.
