Jesus was anointed by God to save people from sinning but many refuse to believe him and that is the reason why he was nailed to the cross as his punishment in telling to the people that he is God and the Son of God, yet it was written on the prophesy that that matter will be happened to him.
Anyway he is God. He died as a man but live forever as God. All human beings could not stay on earth forever. All of us will surely return to dust where we came from, whether we like it or not.
You are not chosen by God to represent him as Jesus was chosen by God b because he is God.

Part of the good news is that whether we choose to reject Jesus in this lifetime or not, we'll all be enlightened in the next life as to the fact that His claims were correct all along.

Yes, Jesus died for all of them. We need to ask forgiveness and accept His gift, and we are saved. We all die in God's timing. : )

He was the sacrifice. He made a new covenant between God and man. He reconciled us back to the Father after we, as people, messed things up.
