Tin foil through my Tooth filling?

1 - Ok I haven't tried it yet but this one crazy *** stupid ignorant small brained Mexican classmate of mine (Its not the race! its him! so don't get any ideas!? im also Mexican!) Well he told me that if I rub tinfoil on my tooth filling my mouth would go all numb?

2 -- Is this for real? I wanna do it but im too lazy to get up and look for a tinfoil thy kitchen in which does not apply to my race that Mexicans don't have tinfoils, or tooth fillings because we're poor!? well they fill it with nacho sauce then! but I have a filling on one of my tooth.

3 --- Has anyone tried this yet? does it go numb? why does it go numb though???

4 ---- Without all the ethnicity in the world there would be no world. Am I right?

You'll get a little electrical shock from the different metal to metal contact, if that's what he means by numb.

I don't recommend it :p... haha... tinfoil would probably hurt A LOT on a filling. I'm pretty sure that's what metal it is that hurts on fillings... I have a bunch of fillings... and if I remember correctly, tin foil, is one of the last things I want near them.

No tinfoil on your filling's gonna hurt like hell. really I've accidentally done this because it was stuck to something I was eating and didn't notice and wound up cursing in languages I didn't even know. Also beware the end of a fork because that hurts pretty bad too.

lol...you re right about the ethnicity part... i think your friend is wrong though i have fillings in my teeth and Ive actually chewed on tin foil before ( i know but I'm orally fixated) and it did absolutely nothing to my mouth other than feel really strange...

SOMETIMES SOME METALS AGAINST OTHER CAUSE A SMALL GALVANIC REACTION. IT'S LIKE HAVING A BATTERY CONTACT AGAINST YOUR TOOTH.
HAVING YOUR ENTIRE MOUTH GO NUMB WONT HAPPEN IN ACTUALITY.
ETHNICITY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS, BUT TRUTH AND FACTS DO.
