I have a ten year old son who was nominated by his teacher to an academic academy in Illinois and he was accepted. However the problem is that it is $1700 for one week. He will be attending in the beginning of the summer. His father and I would like to be able to split the cost. So I need some ideas to make $850 within the next month or so. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Approach other relatives than Dad. Talk to local businesses about helping out (Burger King, Walmart, Target). Yard sale unused items or outgrown clothing.

Yard Sale, Bake Sale, Sell stuff on Ebay, Ask rich relatives (just kidding!), Selling something would probably be your best bet! Good Luck! I hope you can get it!
