Yup, twice - brisbane and sydney.
Both are fantastic places to visit, and i assume live in as well. Was a bit culture-shocked to find all stores closed by 6pm in brisbane. but it is refreshing to stay in a place thats as relaxed and not-in-a-hurry compared to other big cities. "no worries" really means something down under.
Have to be honest though, even if half the people i come accross are not caucasian, and being asian, i unfortunately stumbled upon a bit of discrimination (not really racism). Like once, i was walking out of a target store in queen's street mall and happened to ask for directions from a sales girl. She was kind enough to help out, but only after she first asked to look at my bag first. Well maybe it was just me.
In general though aussies are great to talk to. Very helpful and kind. And the accent is just to fall in love with =)
Would love to go back again anytime.

I went there last summer and loved it so much. Everyone was really nice, if not a bit sarcastic towards Americans but you find that in almost every country. Everything was so beautiful and clean, I wish I could have stayed for longer. The animals in Australia are really unique and cool. Plus it was nice, how pure the air was. It may sound weird, but living in southern california, it was nice not to wake up and see gross dirty smog everywhere.

I have lived in Australia all my life and will be glad when I can take that permanent migration away from her to the Philippines that I have always wished for.
