I would take the dog to the vet and see whats going on. He or she might be able to give you some ideas on what to do or help the dog from snoring to loud. The breath right strips I doubt will work as they are meant for human noses to help pull the nostrils open to breathe better. The sticky part of the strip probably won't even stick to the dogs nose, cause their nose is wet and cold, and besides the dog would just scratch it off anyway. So your best bet is to take it to a vet and ask him or her what you can do. Tell your boyfriend that giving the dog away is not an option. If you love the dog he should be understanding of you. It's your dog too.

Doggie snoring is adorablee! I have 6 dogs and they all snore. Breath right strips wont work ,your dog will only get frustrated.
Just let the dog sleep in a different room and close the door or something.
The strips can only work temporarily so its basically useless . Your dog will most likely discover away to not let you put it on or just to take it off.
Just tell the boyfriend suck it up and to deal with the snoring.

I use Breath Right strips and they do not work for me. I never thought of using them on a dog. Change the dog's position so his nose doesn't force air into the sheet or cover. If he is a back sleeper change his position to the side. Don't allow covers or pillows near his nose. Get an air purifier. It doesn't have to be an expensive one...just low in noise.

Nope not "ALL" dogs snore loudly. Because of their short face, most Pugs snort, snuffle, wheeze, grunt, and snore loudly. The sounds are endearing to some people; nerve-wracking to others. I've never heard a Shih Tzu snore.

Strips won't work. You may want to try seeing if your dog would like to sleep with his head on a pillow. My bulldog occassionally will sleep with his head on a pillow and it really helps the snoring.
If not get rid of the boyfriend. What's he going to do if you start snoring?

awww....I don't think those strips will do any good whatsoever, save your money. Some breeds particularly, bulldogs and other short faced dogs do snore and are noisy breathers. Is the dog in bed with you?
Why not train the dog to sleep in a crate with a nice dog bed inside? The dog won't mind that and its convenient for travel to get him used to that.

No, the strips are made for the human nose. They won't work on a dog. It is common for flat, pug nosed dogs to snore. Don't know if anything can fix it.

Ummmm... no. They were designed for humans. A dog's nose os shaped totally different. Certain breeds (usually short-nosed ones like Bulldogs, Boxers, Boston Terrers) snore a lot. That's just how they are.
You might want to check with your vet.

Absolutely not. They are designed for the sharp angles of human noses. Dog noses are to broad, and a lot bigger than ours. Just put your dog in another room at night.
Never let a boyfriend get rid of your dog. Boyfriends come and go, but you dog will always love you. If your bf doesn't respect your love of your dog, he is shallow and selfish. Never give up your dog for someone like that. You'll regret it.
