Why does this Asker thinks s/he knows the truth that everyone only thinks they know the truth when they don't, because "everyone" includes the Asker!

The ONLY truly honest people are agnostics.
People have beliefs that are so strong that they feel like "knowing." To be fully honest one MUST learn to separate beliefs from what one knows via direct evidence.
I am a theist, by the way. (Not a Christian.) I simply recognize that I don't "know" whether there is a deity, but still choose to believe in one.

We know the truth because we are reading the bible and we have understood it.
There is nothing wrong in reading a book especially that it is the bible where we can read about the truth.
