Ladies and women how do you apply these verses to your lives and what is a good godly way to acheive this type of behavior?

1 Peter 3:3-5 Do not let your adornment be merrely outward arranging the hair wearing gold or putting on fine apparel.
Rather let it be the hidden person of the heart with the incorruptable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious in the sight of God. For in this manner the holy woman who trusted in God adorned themselves making themselves beatuiful being submissive to thier own husbands.

What does it take to be this kind of woman?. I have been doing a lot of soul searching and would like to be the woman that God wants me to be.And I found this scripture to be inspiring and helpful.

It is very deep and beautiful
many say it means that women shouldn't dress in pretty clothes or wear jewelery
if you read it,it doesn't say that at all.it means to work on your inner self as that is what the Father sees.clothe your soul in love and kindness but not in acceptance to thing that are ungodly. to be submissive to your husband is to hear him when he speaks and to love him even if he is wrong or on your last nerve:-) it doesn't mean to kiss his feet or do ungodly things for him always remember that the bible is speaking to those that are seeking God so the verse is to husbands and wives seeking God not their own fleshly desires
I also wish to be the type woman God would have me be.and I stumble often but as long as we seek the truth=Jesus Christ
Jesus will be there to wipe the dust from our knees and the tears from our eyes
I ask the Lord for the strength to be a good daughter to my Father in heaven, a good wife to my husband and a good mother to my children
keep this in mind,seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven

It's called being humble. I'm a simple girl myself; no makeup, fancy hairstyles (I don't even use hairspray anymore), no expensive trendy trashy looking clothes...I care more about comfort & quality that I can get a bargin on. I also have what I guess you could call a simple classic style in my clothing. As for the attitude: prayer and a book entitled "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" by Dr. Laura Schlessinger. If you're not familiar with her work, she's a conservative Christian woman, not a flaming liberal. I found the book very helpful.

I think it means women are not to use their outside looks to impress people. They should be to their husbands so loving and so good that he would look at you with so much love and to him you would be so beautiful as in the heart and soul.Outside beauty in not important to being a beautiful women. Her soul is beautiful and no one could ever be more beautiful.I hope I explain a little.This question is hard to really explain it properly. Blessings to you

To me it means to let your inner beauty shine and there is no need for artificial outside coverings, such as make up and fancy stuff in your hair. Be humble in appearance and your inward beauty will shine like gold

I don't need a man to utilize those qualities like some women. As soon as they get a divorce or separate from a man, they go out and take off everything to get a new man. So raunchy and cheap whorish. I refuse to turn into a whore in order to get another man. They can over look me if they want.
