what color floor will make a low ceiling room (7'7") looks higher?

I am planning to use tiles, should I have lighter color tiles or darker?

usually whiter color is better. But you should care about what kind of look your going for. I put dark color flooring and ceiling still looks ok.

In which case, you would have to paint it a light color in comparison to the 4 walls. However, since your question is regarding the flooring, it does not matter. If you prefer dark over a lighter tile, then go with the dark. If you like the lighter tile, all it would do is BRIGHTEN your room.
