If I thought he would be a good president, then yes. If I thought he would be a bad president, then no. If he was running against Hillary Clinton, then definitely regardless of whether he would be a good president... It's one thing to elect someone and then discover they are a criminal (Bill Clinton), it's another to elect someone who you already know is a criminal (Hilary).

Why not ..... American had already elected George Bush Junior to be the President. A Mormon with better qualification could fit the bill too.

I would elect a Mormon if I agreed on him with the issues. Chances are I wouldn't agree with him on the important things though so probably not.

Would you elect a J DUB to be president? What about a Catholic, Southern Baptist, or a Quaker? (JFK, Carter, Nixon)

What difference does it make?

If I know s/he's a GOOD Mormon, then I know they are honest, and faithful to their spouse.

I wouldn't judge a persons religion on electing him as president

Why not. Like one Baptist minister said we will not be voting for a chief theologian. If I feel the Mormon is qualified, and is a good decent person, I would vote for him. I am a Catholic.

As long as he didn't make us wear "Magic Underwear".I think Romney wouldn't bring it to politics much .Hey ,look at Harry Reid the ol' Jack Mormon! How could a good mormon believe the crap he does.

Depends on their qualifications. I'll give Romney credit for starting Bain Capital. He does understand business, but I am a bit wary when it comes to any candidate that takes religion way too seriously. Case in point, the last 6+ years.

We already have lots of Mormons running our cities.....to run a country? Hmmmm I wouldn't be surprised to see one in the WHITE HOUSE. You cannot stop the inevitable.

I'll be honest and say no. I know too much about the Mormon religion to ever want them in power.
