Maybe not, but it sure is fun to think about.

Its because we are humans.
unless like animals, god has given us the amazing gift of thoughts. ANIMALS CAN NOT THINK , but HUMANS CAN THINK and thats why we have Curiosity, and thus we ask such questions.
You know if you were raised in an Orphange, one day wouldn't you want to find about who you are, who are your parents, and who brought you into this world?
similarily, we, humans, as children of god, have the same desire to find out about ourselves, our father, and our creator, God.
and....its a misunderstanding that questions about the existence of God can not be answered. In fact they can be answered, you just have to change your view, and look around your self, and ask, why? why do You exist? Why such perfect world exist? and how is that everything works so perfectly in this world? You have to have the view to look at God, and then it would be hard for you to deny the existence of God.

We can't help it. Accepting we have no answers to life's big questions (Why are we here? Where do we go when we die?) is impossible for some people. Theorising about such big mysteries is also fun, after all we will all one day find out the answer to what happens when we die. It will be interesting to find out who was right :) .

The Apostle Paul said something along those lines as well.
The apostle Paul warned, “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ” (Colossians 2:8). In this passage we can see the antagonism between the “tradition of men” and “basic principles of this world” and the teaching of Christ. As Jesus said elsewhere, there are only two sources for religion—God or man (Matthew 21:23-27).

there are anwers to these questions...you just have to find them.
here's my suggestion: this is a non-sectarian book for all types of people in al different religions: "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" you can get it on "www.krsna.com" . Read it online at: "http://www.krishna.com/e-books/Bhagavad-gita_As_It_Is.pdf"
this book:
- contains spiritual knowledge that is both practical and profound.
- addresses the questions many of us ask at different times in our lives: Who am I? Why am I here? What is the purpose of life?
- delves into psychology, love, art, cosmology, health, yoga, architecture, science and more.
- guides you daily in your spiritual journey.
- comes from a civilization, unlike today's, that was dedicated solely to spiritual progress. So you'll get a cultural, social context you can draw into your own contemporary life.
- gives persons searching for truth the fullest, deepest explanation, more than any other scientific, philosophical, psychological or religious system.

Philosophy is about the structure of the arguments. Logical proofs can be very beautiful and extremely elegant. But until they are tested they are still just propositions, hypothetical. Not realities or facts.

People do not like the real answer!
The real answer is; if there is a God, and He is found in the Bible or other texts that are accessible, then He chooses who He proves Himself to.
People hate that.

Who says the question will never be answered. As it is science is already proving more each day, and rendering God/s obsolete.

Because it meens everything in this life. Without a God, there is no basis for wrong or right. So we have to question ourselves whether there is a God or not. We can never know the answer for sure untilk we die. Thats why it is so hard to beleive in God. Thats why we must beleive that he is reel in order to go to heaven. It is not as simple as it may seem.
The existence of God meens everything. Without him, life is meeninless.

It's just a big thing to wonder about, and some people spend their whole lives trying to look for clues, but never find any, but some people just think that THEY will find SOMETHING.
