I think they hate Christians and they like to bash us at every chance they get.

Debate becomes personal between Atheists and Christians. Some people are good at holding their tempers, but when Christians damn Atheists by telling them that they're going to Hell, I ticks Atheists off because they know that that's the worst thing a Christian can say to an Atheist. There's nothing comparable that an Atheist can say to damn a Christian. I don't see Muslims, Jews, Mormons or any other religion attacking Atheists the way Christians do. Maybe it's the nature of their religion, but it isn't any way to convince others that Christianity is a loving, kind, and forgiving religion. If they can't be like that in a forum like this, then how can we expect them to be that way in the real world. If Christians wouldn't make themselves targets in here, the Atheists just might trreat them better.

"It just seems like they take such great joy in their vain attempts to discredit Christianity! "
That's a mighty big strawman you've constructed so far. You can burn it down by yourself, I haven't the time for such nonsense.
Apparently, you're antagonized as well, otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question. You're an easy target and apparenly your faith isn't as strong as you think it is.
Christianity has ALREADY been discredited, you guys lost that battle ages ago. We're all just waiting for you to jump on the bandwagon.

You're saying two different things. Deliberately provoking and antagonizing others is bad; yes, I agree with you on that. But you seem to be putting any comment that goes against Christianity in that category. What about legitimate, serious, sincere answers that challenge the Bible? Why are they so bad? This is an open forum, ya know; not every question or answer has to be pro-Christianity.

Or... even as an atheist is composed of a non secular dialogue board in simple terms to ask questions or supply solutions that are offensive, isn't this really only a show of the atheist's self-important and arrogant attitude? I mean, if the atheist were so certain that he replaced into correct in his God-a lot less view of the global, why could he even favor to come back to a non secular dialogue board in any respect? Are atheists so shallow and uncertain of themselves that they could in simple terms sense examined via insulting the religious in a non secular dialogue board?

I think some have a personal ax to grind. Now I asked a question, "Courtesty and Respect on R & S" I had difficulty in scoring all of them. I really messed up. However one was from a person calling herself an atheist. I really wanted to give her a good score (not the winner) because her answer was thoughtful and respectful which is what my question was about.

Simple. Many arguments Christians throw out usually have loopholes and faults that can easily be made fun of.
About "asking questions and not answering" usually is an answer in itself. It's usually done as a form of satire or to turn the question around to get the asker to see another side.

The point of asking a question is to receive an answer, not to answer it yourself, so if that is wasting your time then you are in the wrong place.
Also your typo makes your question a little hard to read. Are you saying that theories based in reason are welcome or stories for a reason are welcome.
If you want theories based on reason, read Atheist's replies. Christian will give you stories for a reason, I just haven't found out what it is yet.

First of all, it's good to see that I'm not the only one who noticed that:)
I think it is because many Athiests feel persecuted by the religious. They're trying to get even. But that doesn't justify their mean answers.

Why do Christians?
Atheists just want Christians to butt out of everyone elses lives. Christians want to spread their religion. I know which one I'm with.
