That is like asking what is the best camera, or car, or whatever. There is no "best brand". Many so called name brand batteries (like Kodak for example) are private label brands that are manufactured by some one else. The newer metal hydroxides are only made by about 7 companies world wide but carry many many brand names. The thing to look for today is the Mah. Even an odd branded 2500 Mah bat will give far better service than a name brand 1800. The new 2800 ones are even better and great, if you can afford them.
