The fat in food does not equate to your fat cells. The fat you store in your body comes from many sources. Fat does have a higher calorie count, 9 calories/gram, while carbohydrates and protein are only 4 calories/gram.

Unburnt calories get stored in your body as fat. However, depending on your age, height and lifestyle, your body can burn about one thousand calories a day even if you don't exercise.

fat is all the "extra" energy.

A 0 fat food is defined as less than 1 gram of literal fat contained in it. What your body does with it has nothing to do with this measurement.

Even if you ingest too much potein, the excess protein will turn to fat!

They still become fat. There are 3500 calories in 1 lb of fat. If you want to lose a pound of fat you must burn 3500 more calories than you consume. Fat just has more calories in it than carbs and sugar, which also have calories in them.
