I was walking up the stairs and saw up my daughter's school skirt and she had no panties on, she's only 12!

I just was looking up while I was coming up the stairs and she was standing up there in her short little plaid school skirt...but she didnt have anything on under it!! I saw everything...and I bet guys at school did too. I don't want her to grow up to be a slut. What should I do???

A very bad situation for you; because if you make any mention of it any bond of trust you have may be broken, not to mention the embarrassment. I would relay this to my wife, or
friend or someone of trust. Aside from this, If you do have an
open relationship that allows Open Communication, then you can point blank ask her what the deal was, and let her know it is not appropriate and that this will not be tolerated. At 12 though kids think they are 16 and at 16 they think they are 20; so depending on how truly honest your relationship is I would
consider all of this before I reacted, but it is something that definatley should be addressed.

okay! check this out, she is only 12 !?! And she did't wear any drowse to school? only one thing is to consider these days cause kids are starting to experiment at very very young ages! You really need to find out if she has been tampered with, because young boys will do and say anything. if she don't tell you the truth take her to the doctor as soon as possible and talk, teach,and show her what she needs to know &learn before it's too late. It's best to be safe than Sorry..... It's not only your 12yr.old I have a 6yr.old that is already asking ?'s. I'm a R.N. and I felt like it was time to start telling her what was apropiate and what was't. I have small dicussions about the way she will begin to change as she gets older. Just talk to her and hopefully she will take heed to the things you are telling her.

She would have gone immediately back to her room and put something on under that skirt. She wouldn't be aloud to attend any function dressed like that and from now on she would have to show that she has at least underwear on under there. She is really young nip this in the bud and fast. My daughter is 13 adn I only buy skirts that have the shorts made into the underneath part. You might want to purchase some of them

Put a stop to it now and find out why she thinks it is OK to do that. I came across that very thing with a younger girl and I have no idea why her parents aren't upset about it, but the kid basically flashed me and when I told her to get something on she asked me why I was looking? I was like huh??? Who the he ll are you? (she was in my house with her mom visiting) and her mom didn't do anything. I wanted to ask her when she was going to teach her daughter about modesty? Before she has her first kid or after? I can't help think that girl was abused, but I hope that is not the case with her or your daughter. Maybe she had an accident at school and had to take them off?

Well it seems like she is sexually active. Sit down have a talk with her. If your wife is around have her talk to her. You have to get into her brain now before its too late. Don't allow her to wear skirts that short, you must buy them, because a 12 year old doesn't have money for that stuff unless you give it to her. My daughter is 8 going on 9 and begs me to buy those short skirts, I wont, in fact she's not allowed to wear shorts that are short!!

Are you positive that she woar this to school, and she wasn't just doing it at home to trick you or for some stupid reason. You need to have a nice long talk to her about that and make sure she never does that again or else there will be alot of girl hungry teenage boys and pervy adults after her.

It sounds like she is looking for attention, unfortunately she is going about it the wrong way. She has self-esteem issues. You should seek a counselor for her and for your family. It is important for a father to have a good relationship with his daughter so that she does not feel like she needs a mans attention too young. Do not forget to tell her how beautiful and intelligent she is everyday and how that you hope that she respects herself.

Raid her closet and throw the revealing clothing away. Look through her diary and tell her she needs to wear underwear. Talk to her teacher, also. See if she does anything suspicious like wear pants to school then changes when she gets there. When puberty hits, that will help, too.
