Not sure if I understand your question, but I'll give it a try. Most adds for flight sims use screen shots to give an idea of their graphics. The cockpit pictures are just a screen shot of the way it looks in the game. I am using "game" as a general term here. As an X-Air Force jock that had the privilege (Korean era) to have flown the F86,89, and the "dollar deuce" (F102) with an FIS squadron, I now have several sims on my computer and love the Raptor F/a 22. I have a couple of sims that use it.

The virtual cockpit is modeled into the aircraft. Therefore, it can't be user modified unless you have a Gmax program or of the sort.
