I just installed a new head unit in my father in laws truck and i cant get it to power up all the wiring is correct and the head unit works just cant get it to power up

it is a 1992 chevy 1500 and all the fuses are good

try 2 connect the yellow and red wire (constant power and Ignition) and see if i would turn on and if it does then u can figure out the problem if not u have a problem!

check the fuse on the radio and in the fuse box

How is it wired? Did you use an adapting wire harness?
