I put a 240 pound set of bronze ships horns in the bed of my truck, which came off of a Great Lakes passenger ferry. I use it for demonstrations, but also for those BMW 325i drivers who ride my bumper and drive like they own the road and I'm just in their way. You know the types--they like to ride 6" behind you flashing their high beams even when you're already doing 40 in a 30, and then use the first turn-only lane they find to pass you. That's usually when I shake them up, and I interpret the resulting hand gesture as confirmation that the horn worked.

When a driver made a mistake as they were driving and become up-set at the fact that you had to make them aware that you had noticed... feeling as if you have all rights to let them aware that-have noticed their mistake and blow the horn at them besides probably nervous and first reaction,

Some people think honking is rude, which is far from the truth. What's rude is people thinking they own the road, and when you call them on it, they flip you the bird.
I prefer to blow them kisses. Not only will I avoid sinking to their level, but it makes 'em even angrier. :-)

You sure they are reaching for a cell phone...maybe a gun. Don't antagonize people who are having a hard time driving well. Just take a deep breath and move on.

Because they are STILL WRONG!!! Why else would they???
And for Adam S... I don't like to use the horn when someone is 6" off my rear bumper, they can't hear it as well.... My Dodge 3500 has an engine brake (just like the big rigs) that I like to downshift and let it come on full force... no brake lights, just sudden controlled deceleration, then I up-shift and mat it!! :-P

I slowed down hoping they would just go on around, well they pulled up beside me going off on me. So I started fussing back they had a pit bull and held up this dog like they were gonna sick him on me. I pulled out my 45 and they took off. People are nuts be prepared!!!

The selfish attitude that makes them bad drivers makes them think they are always right, and therefore you are only honking at them to be a jerk.

Cause bad drivers are like toddlers. They will get away with what they think they can, and don't think ahead to the consequences of their actions.
