My friend has tried using every razor there is and all sorts of shaving cream. She shaves until her skin is raw, and a dark shadow is still there. Does anyone know a way she can fix this annoying problem, especially with summer along the way?

I had the same problem if she waxes then it will remove the dark stubble that causes the Shadow. You have to let it grow a week so it wont hurt as bad and then bite down on a wash cloth. You will only have to do this about every six weeks. Good Luck

She would have to wax so that there hair is gone. Or a product like Nair. Shaving only removes part of the hair. The part of hair that is stull under the skin will continue to show if she is fair skinned.

noo, dont shave it. it will only grow back thicker and lik a man's mustache. Get it waxed or bleach your upper lip. You can get a bleach from your local drug store. Sally Hansen has a good bleach which will make your upper lip area perhaps a little lighter.
