As mentioned, you are not eligible to sponsor your family for immigration to Canada until you have received permanent residency status yourself, which if you have not already applied for, you will want to very soon. Depending on the conditions of your temporary work visa, you may have to return to India first to apply for PR status.

You can apply for your family at the same time, or wait until you have PR status and have moved permanently to Canada, then sponsor your family. You will have to prove your ability to support them for the next ten years.

All the information you need is here:

Talk to the East Indians in the community you are living in and ask those who have been through the process for their input and advice. Also, you may want to consult a lawyer with experience in immigration issues.

Canada is a democracy which means that all information is available to the public. Go to the government website about immigration http://www.cic.gc.ca/. If you have money to waste, then you can contact an immigration company in your home country... they can't do anything but fill in the forms for you. No, someone on a work permit can not bring their family over. Read about it at Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Good Luck.
