it is the same thing than condemning people to hell??

I am sorry if that is the case. My message is that heaven is so good that I do not understand that people are using their free will the way that they are not going to be in heaven too.

It is God's promise that we will receive the gift of eternal life in heaven when we accept Jesus for who He is and we believe that He can save us. John 3:16. If you do not understand anything else about God's message, remember this. You might need that message one day, if you are too arrogant now. God will respect your choice. He does not want to lose anyone of us, but He is righteous and He will keep His promise. :)

Tell me your thoughts. :)

To understand perhaps you first need to come out of that mode of thinking and understand that not everyone measures their life by such poles. Many do not believe in either so in your world they automatically choose hell because of that but in their own world they are living life with nothing hanging over their head.

You only seem to able to look from your own point of view. I understand your point of view as I'm an ex-christian; but unless you open your mind you likely will never understand mine.

No - it didn't sound that way to me. Although some people only hear what they want to hear.

I can understand where you are coming from. Unfortunately a lot of people think that God in Christianity is condemning people to hell - for what they call the 'little thing' of not believing in Jesus.

Most do not understand that they chose hell and that God is honoring their choice. That they chose to be seperated from God. And that to go to heaven they must love God - and accept Jesus as their Lord in the Christian view. Not out of fear of going to hell - but out of love.

I suppose Christians would say I am choosing to go to hell. So maybe I can help you here.

I do not believe in Jesus as God's son or as the Messiah for that matter. I do not believe because what is taught in the Old Testament does not match the message in the New Testament. That what Paul preaches cannot be found in Judaism - though he claims to be a Pharisee of all things. And that Paul serves only to shine a very muddled, cloudy light on to what Judaism really is - which is why he was only able to convert Gentiles. The Jews say right through him.

I also do not believe in Jesus because he did not fulfill the true Messianic prophecies. Christians point out a lot of OT scriptures and claim that Jesus fulfilled the 'prophecies' but many are 1. not prophecies and 2. have nothing to do with the Messiah. In reading the whole context I have come to see that these passages are misunderstood like the suffeirng servant in Isaiah 53. Do you know that earlier in Isaiah that Israel is called the suffering servant - the witnesses? Or that, despite Paul's claims that no one could fulfill the Law John the Baptist's parents are said to have done just that in the gospel of Luke?

Most people refuse to believe in Christianity because they do not fully understand it. Yet they fear hell and lash out. Which is what you are seeing on here.

It sends the message that you think I am sinning by not "choosing" to be a Christian. And it is offensive, even though I know you do not want to be offensive. So I keep in mind that it's not your intention to offend, and try to have respect for you and your beliefs, as much as I can.

How am I sinning by not believing that Jesus is the only way to salvation? How in the world is it a sin to not be a Christian? But that's what you are saying. You are saying (correct me if I'm wrong please) that I am committing a terrible sin by not believing in Jesus and by believing in Hinduism instead. But in order to commit a sin, you have to be able to choose not to sin. As an example, if I slap someone voluntarily, I have sinned. It's wrong to hurt someone, and I chose to do so. So yes, that's a sin. But let's say that there is something wrong with my hand, and I have this truly involuntary hand motion, which ends up slapping someone. Did I sin? No, I don't think so, because there was no intention to hurt. I couldn't have chosen to not slap the person, because I had no control over my involuntary hand movement.

In the case of not being a Christian, there is no sin involved, because it is involuntary. I did not choose to not believe that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. That belief just automatically formed in my mind after study of the evidence.

Did you choose to believe that Yahoo Answers exists? I don't think so. You just believe in it, because the evidence was there, and that evidence is what formed the belief in your mind. There is no moral virtue attached to believing in Yahoo Answers, and there is no moral virtue attached to believing that Jesus is or is not the Messiah. It's based on evidence, and how we interpret that evidence.

Now, if I choose to do something, and you think it's wrong, then you have a right to point out to me my error, and correct me, so that I will not cause further harm. But in this case, you are trying to make me feel like I'm "choosing hell" when I did no such thing. You are trying to make me feel like I'm sinning by what I believe or disbelieve, and it's not true.

It implies that you have firsthand knowledge that the person has made a choice & unless that person has said directly to your face & spoken the words, "I have chosen hell", & you have heard it yourself, then what makes you think you have the right to assume the choice has been made. Besides, only God can make that choice on "judgement day". In Christian Religions, yes, it is a condemnation on your part & this also makes you party to the same type judgements! Only God can judge if a persons actions will condemn them to hell, according to doctrine. Another person cannot condemn without facing condemnation themselves for acting as if they were a God!

Why do you choose to judge? The bible clearly states that one is not suppost to judge another. How can you quote the bible and in the same breath judge another? God gave us all free will and the power to spread his word. He did not say to harass the people with his word and to condemn them to hell for not believing the same as ourselves. It is for him to decide who will and will not reside with him in heaven.

No, it's making an assumption that your belief structure is agreed upon by everyone and that there's people who are choosing to go to a place that not everyone agrees whether it exists or not.

We don't all agree that everyone believes as you do, nor in the concepts you put forth. To me the concept of an omnipotent creator being is wholly illogical, thereby making BOTH of your comments illogical. Just a different viewpoint.

"My message is that heaven is so good that I do not understand that people are using their free will the way that they are not going to be in heaven too"

Have you ever made any effort at all to understand, or are you so satisfied with your rather obviously shallow knowledge of the situation that you don't feel the need to understand it better?

The reason you don't understand is simply that you're far too arrogant.

the only ones that would misunderstand that are those with a guilty conscience. They start right away crying that you are judging, when in fact you are just stating a truth. We can see when someone is violating the law and point it out, that does not make us a judge. God is the ultimate judge, his children are just told to lead people to the light. If i see someone gay and point to the text that condemns that lifestyle, they get offended and say I am judging. Oh well, I will not stop doing it.

everyone has a choice. you cant condemn anyone to hell. It is just as you have said; if they reject Jesus Christ they are choosing hell. You have no reason to be apologetic.
