Home mortgage interest deductionn?

Hi,

Can I deduct home mortgage interest deduction for a home purchased outside US. I have statement from a bank regarding interest paid in FY 2006.

If it's your principal residence or a second home, yes you can deduct it. The ordinary rules apply, i.e. the property must be pledged as security for the loan, etc.
