I'm the exact same proportions. Have you ever seen the BMI index poster at your doctors? According to this we are a little over weight.

You are borderline on being overweight for someone who has a large frame at your height, so if you have small bones then you probably need to lose weight. If you have lots of muscle then you don't really have to worry.
Just keep in mind: Everyone DOES have an ideal body weight, but you can't just look at a chart and know what it is. You have to consider how tall you are, how big your bones are, how much muscle or fat you have, and your family history. Ask your healthcare provider to help work with you to define and develop a plan to reach your ideal body weight.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

It's a little unhealthy, but you're not too fair gone, try to cut down on the sodas you drink, and eat the right portions of food every meal. Meat should be about the size of a deck of cards, and grains and vegetables should take up half of your plate. Try being more active. If your eating habits are fine and you excersize regularly but still gain weight, I would suggest seeing a doctor or nutritionist.

You are slightly overweight (if you were an adult). If you have a small frame, I would be a little concerned, but if you do not have a small frame, no worries. Younger teens should have a little extra weight because their bodies are still growing and developing - trying to figure things out.
Just remember to eat a well-balanced diet and exercise.

You're right on the edge of being overweight. Your BMI, is 24, which is 64th percentile. By the way, this is the best way you should look at if it is healthy or not, not just by "experience", as this is science. It's not bad, but I would try to aim for the 50th percentile, which is average weight.

if you are healthy than no. Dont worry about looking like the girls in the magazine that isnt what makes you beautiful and that is not an example of perfect health. you could be 120lbs and have diabetes so what good is that? Ignore what society believes is right, you are only 14 and I bet you are just perfect the way you are.
