I am a 23 year old stay at home mom who is still brestfeeding my 8 1/2 month old daughter. I would like to start loosing some of my baby weight, (right now I weigh aprox 175lbs compared to my 145lbs pre-baby. ) I do yoga a few days a week, so I am fairly active, and I know that I should not really "diet" until I am done brestfeeding, but I was wondering, how many grams of fat a brestfeeding woman needs, compared to a woman who is not brestfeeding that is trying to loose weight. Thanks!

no less than 20% of the daily calories are too be derived from fats for women.

when breastfeeding you only need to reduce the saturated fat intake as low as possible and substitute it for polyunsaturated or monounsaturated fats.
