If you share your computer with your mom and dad, you are going to have to abide by their rules, or not use the same computer. Teens are notorious for visiting questionable Websties, even girls are. You probably went to a few and picked up some viruses and Spyware. It's not fair to your parents, and they may not wish to continue sharing thei computer with you if you can't stay away fomr those kinds of sites. I personally would not allow you to go anywhere near my computer.
Now, that I've said that, I do believe that if you do prove to be responsible, then your parents should trust you to some extent and not snoop in your stuff. There is no indication that they are doing this now - though they could if they wanted to.

It detects and removes spyware from your computer but it doesn't detect viruses that aren't identified as spyware (some spy/adware are viruses) but it's a piece of crap in my opinion...It really screws with your computer and makes it run slow.

It's a program to find viruses and malware on your computer and delete them. If anything, it makes your computer -more- private.
