Well, there is a POSSIBILITY to become a Swiss citizen and not a RIGHT to do so, to get things straight at first.

If being an adult and not married to a Swiss, you would have to live in Switzerland for at least 12 years before being able to apply for Swiss citizenship. Depending on the village/town you'd live at the time of application there are some extra restrictions concerning the amount of years living in the same place...

Then the municipality would proof your knowledge on some Swiss and local facts as well as you ability of speaking the local language (German, French or Italian) - after that you are recommended or not, and then there is a decision. But as said at first, there is no right to become a Swiss.
