My boyfriend is suffering a lot because he has hemorroids, and when he goes to the toilet he suffers a lot! He lives in an extreme weather that is very hot.

Please do not tell me surgery... he had surgery once. Do you know any natural remedies, products or secrets that could help him?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Have him sit in a slightly warm tub of water with Epsom Salts, do this for 2 or 3 evenings and they will reduce. Probably 20 to 30 minutes each time.

My Hubby has had them for years (sitting for prolonged periods on the toilet is a contributing factor) and this works quite well for him. A glass of prune juice (4 ounces) in the morning will keep his bowels soft enough so he will not have to strain adding to the problem.

he needs to eat more fiber, hemorroids are caused by burst blood vessels that are caused by straining. The best thing I could have possibly done for my self is to buy benefiber tabs from any store like wal-mart or something like that. It doesn't make you have to go, like I originally thought, it just makes it easier when it's time to go. I guarantee with more fiber, he will feel much better, and try to stay away from greasy, cheesy foods, because they hurt too. Fiber is the way to go!!!

Witch hazel is inexpensive and that is all that is on a Tucks pad. Soak some coffee filters in witch hazel and let him stuff them in his crack, that's what I do.
