I'M A CATHOLIC AND I'M JUST WONDERING, DOES IT SAY ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE OR SCRIPTURES THAT IT'S A SIN TO MASTURBATE DURING HOLIDAYS (FOR EX.) EASTER SUNDAY)??????

Masturbation is considered a sin at any time.
Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years:
1. Single people should be celibate.
2. Married people should be faithful to each other (adultery is wrong).
The Catholic Church recognizes the power of sex when it teaches, "Sexuality affects all aspects of the human person in the unity of his body and soul."
Chastity means the successful integration of sexuality within the person. A chaste person's body and spirit lives in unity and opposes any behavior that would impair that unity.
Masturbation is contrary to the human dignity of the person and anyone about whom the person has lustful thoughts, and the dignity of human sexuality.

There is some leniency given in the area of masturbation when a person is under stress, mental illness, or has been the subject of sexual abuse.
These cases are determined by a person's spiritual advisor. One must get direction about this personally.

It's a sin to masturbate at any time.
This can be a heavy burden, denying our physical urges/passions. Many people struggle with this. Go to Jesus for help. Do penance.

Soooo, a lack of self-control is ok? Teaching one to learn to control ones passions is "brainwashing"?
So if a parent permits their child to eat candy 24/7 is ok, but for a parent to demand that child eat something healthy once in awhile is brainwashing?
