I really love one of my best friends but I won't see him for about a year(maybe even longer) and I'm afraid that we won't remember each other. He knows how I feel about him, but never comments on how he feels about me. I want to know how he feels before he leaves. So, how do I go about finding out and how can I cope with not seeing him? Please and thanks for any and all answers.

Kiss him and see what he does. What have you got to lose?
If you want to play it safer, write him a note and tell him not to read it until he gets wherever he's going.
