By coming to Jesus we can receive joy in this life and eternal happiness in the life to come. By coming to Jesus Christ we collect treasures in heaven where moth and dust doth not corrupt. The greatest reward for coming unto Jesus is inheritance. We inherit eternal life. Jesus Christ has inherited all that the Father hath. He is an heir to all power, glory, and joy that the Father has. The Father and Christ offer joint-heirship unto us. We truly are the offspring of God, "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Romans 8:17-18. We have the opportunity to sit in the throne of God with Him. "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." (Revelation 3:21.)
I ask you, is this not glorious?

Jesus is and ever was the great teacher. His atonement gives us life eternal and if we follow His teaching we will find that a joyful thing. If not, it might not be so pleasant.

What is He not able to do for us? He has conquered death. He was not only able, he was more than willing to lay His life down for us. What other god has even claimed to do as much for you?
He is there to intercede for us to the Father. He is the only one worthy. He provides our Salvation. There is no Salvation except through Him.

Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf. (NLT)
Salvation.... total forgiveness for our sins.... pleads to the Father on our behalf.... gives us the counselor, (the Holy Spirit) to not only guide us but to bring the gifts of the Spirit to those who desire them... He conquered death... it has lost its sting....
Praise You Jesus for the shed blood... and for the atonement you paid for us all!

You shouldn't be so concerned about was Jesus can do for those who come to him. The question should be, What can they do for Jesus? I mean, He died for us and we're sitting here expecting more from Him? If I was him I'd be pissed!
