Well, I didn't see it in person, only on television, but 9/11 is the most dramatic event I ever saw in my lifetime....the tearing down of the Berlin Wall, and the moon landing are in there pretty close for second and third, I think...
In real life? My sister dying of an aneurism...( on the 6 month anniversary of 9/11)

4 days after the 9/eleven i replaced into taking a practice into Boston and that i'd desire to work out the terrible smoldering nevertheless going from the destruction of the twin towers - seeing the empty skyline of NYC and that poor smoke replaced into extraordinarily unhappy and dramatic - I stay in NJ and the full 9/eleven adventure replaced right into a brilliant effect - I even have visited floor 0 - and that replaced into fairly anxious too. i'm no longer able to even start to describe it here.

Walking the top ridge of Sand Mountain (a huge sand dune in the Nevada desert) close to sunset. There was a storm brewing in the east so that part of the sky was black as can be. The sun was going low on the horizon so the western part of the sky was errily bright. Then it started to snow big fluffy flakes that were bright white against the black sky. They swirled around the sky in the gentle wind as they fell. It was like we were in a huge snow globe. Awesome.

In person? Possibly the time a car's LF wheel came off and the car sparked to a halt on the street in front of me.
On TV? I'd say the live broadcast of Apollo 11 landing on the Moon.
[Edit] Ewww. Jenn, you got it as far as I'm concerned!

Well, dramatic insinuates 'drama'...
In real life:
My best friend in high school let slip that her boyfriend's friend was hitting on her and making lewd suggestions. She was confiding in me, but her boyfriend overheard this conversation and convinced me to drive him over to this guy's house. The boyfriend was just trying to talk things over, when the (smaller) 'friend' swung on him. I have never seen a more bloody fight and I wound up driving the kid to the hospital, about an hours drive away. I let the boyfriend walk home...gosh was THAT a dramatic thing.
He did survive, but it was everything from having to hurry at the pay phone to tell my parents that I was driving this guy to the hospital and I'd be home late to my best friend (who was still in the back seat of my car) flipping out. He did survive, but he'll always have the scars to show and I imagine he'll think before trying to 'get with' a taken gal again.
Blessings!

I actually saw a tornado form and touch down in my neighbor's yard. It was only about ten feet wide , but by the time it crossed the street into my yard it was so wide that it completely surrounded my house. My wife, daughter and I came through without a scratch.
