It really depends in witch country you are. For example her in Puerto Rico were I'm from we said "sandalias" or "chancletas" in other country you can also say: "zapatillas". Here I give you the listening or phonetic:
Sandalias =( san-dah-lee-as-s)
Chancletas= (shang- kle- taahs)
Zapatillas= (Zap-pa-tee-yas-s)
