These are my pet peeves:
* people who give every answer a thumbs down, regardless of how correct or incorrect
* people who give a thumbs down on a personal opinion, not a bad answer
* people who don't have e-mail available when you have something really important to tell them after an answer is closed
* Jessica and her biker ads
* people who answer serious questions with smart aleck answers
* people who answer with 'I don't know' just to get points
* people who ask stupid questions just to get a rise out of people (hypothetical question: How do I cook my pet, microwave or oven?)
* ignorant people who have pets and haven't the faintest idea how to care for them and feed them
* people who ask obvious ignorant questions (hypothetical example: my pet just got run over and I don't think it will live. What should I do?) Duh! What do you tell your hurt pet...hold on there, let me fire up the computer and see what people on Yahoo! Answers think? Gee, best answer: take to vet now!

Yes, those folks who don't understand the feeding, shots, basic care and SPAY/NEUTER issues of pet owning really piss me off.
As do people with OBVIOUS major issues who want advice on how to 'fix' thier pets major medical problems for free (the take to the vet NOW group).
I often don't even look in the pets category because I get so sick of typing "take to vet NOW".

i kno ur complaint is fantasy but i want to talk about football, you said complain. What position should I play, Am I good and then they list their speed and size and all this other crap. if your good u dont need to ask a bunch of ppl whove never seen u play. u think LT or Peyton would have done this. Then ppl answer and act like they are some top scout. o with ur speed and size u are a perfect (fill in the blank) and the person who, most likely made all this info up, isnt looking for u to say HEY YOU SUCK. they want to be coddled I cant even put it into words just how annoying that question is, this was an attempt EDIT I mean as a player u could have the skills of LT or Manning but if u cant take a hit or u dont have any heart ur still gonna suck

One of my pet peeves is people who post the same thing EVERYONE else before them did. Or when they suggest something that you clearly stated in your question or additional details that you've tried, or do, or whatever. That tells me that they didn't really read your question very well. I also don't like it when people automatically assume that you are a bad pet owner. (I had a post about a fat cat, explained what I had done to try to help her lose weight, have taken her to the vet, etc... she wasn't losing weight and someone had the stones to tell me that "I didn't care enough about my cat and I wasn't trying hard enough and that I should seriously think about giving my cat to someone who could properly care for it... I was sooooo angry!)

I hate people that answer questions when they have nothing to say like "I don't know but hope he's ok!" Or people that just say "That kind of animal sucks why did you get it?" Also the ones that ask questions like why is my pet throwing up? with no details dozens of things can make an animal throw up we cant reach through the computer screen to tell.

I just go on and I answer the question and even if I get a thumb down I don't care I just do my best with a answer and some of the questions that people on the board like the 5 people that wrote on here about microwaving their cat yes that did bother me. and jessica and her biker ad I just go on and I don't answer his question and I go around on the board and I pick out ones that are good and I answer them even if I get a thumb down. By the jessica is a guy. Someone is going around on the board and marking people down even if they have a good answer. I really don't care. I just go on and I answer the ones that I think are good. And the person with her long note without even reading what the question is she just goes on and I don't even read what she has to say.

Great! you hit the nail on the head. I once asked a simple question on the pet food recall and got one answer that was so long I didn't even bother reading it all. and yes I've seen some stupid questions, but what can you do? just ignore it.

You are so right! My main gripe is people who make jokes about euthanasia when someone has asked a legitimate question. Grrr...
(Sorry my email is closed but I sometimes answer questions from people whom I really don't want to have my email address. But I always check back on the question to see if the asker has added anything).

yep it p***es me off too. sometimes i give smart alek answers to the people that ask the stupid questions. all of your points are well taken. also the people that ask the same question repeatedly!!!!
any more it seems that about 60% or more of the questions posted i don't even read details to because i know it's something stupid
