When you want to get technical about it, you can get into what day it is and what mysteries to pray. You can also join a rosary society. But as a start, just use it to focus yourself to God.

The reason why i pray the rosary because i grew up in the Catholic faith. Back in May 2010, one month after i made my confirmation/first communion, my mom taught me about the rosary. I didn't know how it was to work but then i learned it's way to connect with God and to the Virgin Mary. At first i thought the rosary was vain repetitious and useless but then i realized it's not. It's very useful and meaningful. As a devout Catholic, i try to encourage others to do it also. I remember one Sunday night during Lent season, i was at a Catholic church for Eucharist adoration. And i pulled out my rosary and started praying. And one time on Father's day, i got my dad a pair of rosary beads. Hoping it would him rebuild his Catholic faith. But nothing. I pray for him.
